Growing up with ricer cousins, I always thought being into cars = fug body kits, attention whore exhausts and whatnot.

well, look at what cars are to us as a culture- for those of us to whom they're more than A-to-B, they're extensions of how we want to represent/project ourselves. so naturally, when you get the bug, flash comes first. i think almost all of us start out that way.

the "techi-est" i got in high school was analysis of the new-car stats in the back of MT & C&D; 0-60 & quarter-mile & lateral-g divided by MSRP and the like. and that still made me a goddamned dork.

Bugeyes are hawt.I was eyeing the wagon for a minute..

with the new (dry-heave) impreza bearing down upon us, the '02/03 remains my favorite design since the introduction of the model; and once you get rid of 2 of the 3 cats, it's also the least-hamstrung by ECU trickery (IMO).

ooo have fun at speedy j. i saw him in '03 in detroit, zomgUNFunfunf

oh, i plan on it. *grin*

there's also another venue in the event, techno all night.

i'm liking the music scene in the PNW so far.
