sorry, i got tagged

1) Total number of books owned:

uhm, nowhere near as many since i moved to az. got about a quarter of them and the rest went to goodwill.

2) The last book I bought:

Maximum Boost by Corky Bell (car-geek stuff).

3) The last book I read:

heh, i spent a lot of time paging through the Bentley service manual for the BMW E30 this past weekend... before that i think it was the copy of Irving Welsh's Porno that maynards_dick lent me.

4) Five books that mean a lot to me:

Stranger In A Strange Land - Robert Heinlein
Kingdom of Fear - HST
Steel Beach - John Varley
1984 - George Orwell (a little more every day)
Girlfriend In A Coma - Douglas Coupland

5) Tag 5 people and have them fill this out in their ljs:

as already mentioned, spent about 80% of this weekend's waking hours helping the owner of this site get his '86 325eS assembled and running. we cleaned the shortblock, installed new gaskets throughout the engine, shoehorned it in, and managed to get everything hooked up, but the test fire didn't happen until after i had to leave for work yesterday. i should have pictures to share at some point.

there is a certain sense of accomplishment involved in taking a car from gaping-hole-in-engine-bay to looking-complete.
