my eq is 34, my systemizing quotient is 66, and apparently this makes me "slightly off balance". okay.

decent gallery of this year's gumball 3000 entries, thanks to some guy on the 240sx mlist.

do you see this look?

this is a complete absence of shock.

i will now proceed to make you angry:

upside: you can get a used v8 tvr in this country for $16K.
downside: gas is five bucks a gallon and the country is coated with ten-percent-tolerance speed cameras

it's like jerking off while your phone is ringing.

so how much is a rented garage in germany? :)

German licensing and gas costs will make you choke - and it's illegal to modify your car! (if you want new rims, that combination has to be TUV approved...)

It's probably best to get Polish plates for the car or something.

I'd never even heard of the Gumball Rally until I saw it mentioned in the SF Chronicle this weekend.

My god. That kind of life is so foreign to me. I need to find out where to meet these people and watch this thing happen. I don't think I have enough money to play with the Big Boys though.

you missed it- it started in SF about a week and a half ago, i think. http://www.gumball3000.com/

it's a once-yearly thing, though.

& *shrug* yeah, it would be cool to watch, but if you wanna actually do that sort of thing (without the 5-digit entry fee) there are other options... hopefully by the summer i'll be ready to do one or two of those.

Yeah, I was sad when I saw it started in SF. I would have liked to see the beginning of it. Maybe catch me a cute rich european boy. ;-)

I am such a girl, I disgust myself.

*nod* I have Asperger's. It's not such a bad thing, always, in my view.

Then again, maybe that's because I've had to deal with it/adapt, or something.
