Mood: lucky to be caucasian
a few days ago i saw a commercial warning us of what could come...

scene in a bookstore, nondescript men in dark suits and glasses detain a subject for questioning. "you're gonna have to come with us, sir. we'd just like to ask you a few questions." subject protests loudly but is carried off anyhow.

fade to black, splash onscreen: "what if this was america?"

guess what. it is.

Yeah, I've seen that. It's not like one day, without warning, the U.S. will become a totalitarian dictatorship commuinist bullshit state. That commercial's just trying to scare people into patriotism.

Have you seen the one where the Christians are all in some dank basement having mass and then when they leave the priest is like "be careful" and they all file out of one of those basement door-flap things that's parallel to the ground and look around suspiciously as they exit. And then they are like "what if this was america?" And I think to myself, "christians *should* be illegal, I wish that was america!".

As if ten people all exiting at once from a basement door in daylight isn't suspicious enough...they deserve to be caught!

I want to do a commercial for Jesus Version 2.1. Jesus 2.1 will have the commpassion service pack upgrade that makes him love gays and people of all religions. The upgrade will also include the anti-judgement update to keep his followers from running around telling people they are going to hell. There are also a lot more features that will be announced at a later date.

the real fucking irony about the commercial you mention- when was the last time someone was repressed, persecuted, or otherwise given shit for being an Xian in this country?

if it does come to that, i'd wager that the guys holding the bible and the guys beating down the basement door will be one&the same; or at least the latter will be funded/directed by the former.

i need to get a bunch of bumper stickers reading "One Nation Under God" printed up, in the interest of exercising my first amendment rights while i still have them.

you probably heard the following, oh, about a year or so ago:
