but frankly, you're not going to care about this unless you watch a fair amount of british TV.

richard hammond of top gear:

david tennant of (new) doctor who (season 2):

i say separated at birth, or at least same baby-daddy.

agree or disagree?

More like "who's my daddy??" Maybe the car wreck took a few decades off Hammonds life, but I think he could pass for Tennant's dad more than sibling.

i think it's amazing that he's in one piece at all, considering he had a tube-frame jet-car with no active safety whatsoever come apart on him at ~300mph...

even given what i've experienced in my time on this planet, i can't imagine the abject terror he must have imagined when that front wheel separated.

The video from it was pretty cool, but really didn't make it seem all that crazy. Looking at the wreck of his accident at 300 vs the wreck of your accident at less than half that speed in the GTI? I still say I can't believe you walked away from that. If I saw your car in a junkyard I would have expected the driver dead for sure.

Fuck the Tenth Doctor. BRING BACK ECCLESTON.

And yea, they do look kind of separated at birthy.

I second that.

Chris Eccelston was by far my favorite doctor.

And now that the BBC doesn't have Eccleston OR Billie Piper in the cast, I'm finding it difficult to find reasons to watch Dr. Who. The new assistant is not nearly hot enough.

Yep!

Hello, I'm mametsuki from England. I'm glad I've found someone else who spotted the likeness. I adore both these guys, but Hammond is cuter!
