Music: a perfect circle - passive
cnn's iraq election coverage has trip-hop as background music and i'm not sure how i feel about that.

glad the elections themselves seem to be proceeding in a fashion not significantly more violent than anything else has in the past 2 years in new mesopotamia.

i have a working computer again. i was going into withdrawal without my music and video collections...

The whole Iraq election thing is somewhat worriesome to me. Primarily insofar as I worry about every soldier over there. Despite not having one of those worthless stickers on my car I do support the troops wherever they go and currently have some friends over there. THe election deal (while it needs to happan and sooner is better then later, provided they are fair elections) it seems like there is a lot of chance for death which I don't really dig.

Grats on the computer.

Glad to hear that.

It's amazing many people over in the States were actually hoping for violence on election day.

really? that's... retarded. i mean whether or not one supported us going over there in the first place, i'd think everyone could agree that getting the hell out of there as fast as possible is generally agreeable.

I advise a quick look at democraticunderground or moveon' message boards - look at yesterday's posts, and they hope the election will fail and there will be civil war. look at today's posts, and the election is evil because it might make bush look good.

they're willing to screw 25 million people over to get back at bush.

hell, look at my post and what michael moore said. he called the insurgents "minutemen" and more.

every time i waver on my conservatism i listen to michael moore and moveon and it comes right back.

euugh... well i have a rough time with that. if my country were occupied for ~2yrs now and i didn't like it, i might take up arms as well...

but yeah, seeing f-911 pretty much solidified my opinion of moore as a propagandist twat. if i hate how much spin and untruth comes from the white house these days, i can't like him.

It's not like these guys are fighting Americans all that often. By a ratio of around 100-1, the people killed by Moore's Minutemen are Iraqi civilians.

Today, Moore's Minutemen killed tens of people by bombing voting booths.

A few weeks ago, Moore's Minutemen killed tens of people for having a wedding that was not in accordance with Islamic law.

In Fallujah, Moore's Minutemen would execute, on the street, women showed anything but eyes.

It's not like Moore's Minutemen are honorable soldiers that fight for the other side. They're a bunch of cowards, who don't have the balls to wear an uniform and don't have the balls to fight a military.

Michael Moore, let's remember, was seated next to Jimmy Carter at the Democratic Conventon.

And that's why my isolationist, against-the-invasion (but for doing the right thing, now that we're there), pro-gay, pro-choice ass votes Republican whenever the candidate isn't a total sleazebag.

As I said, these guys are *on the other side*
